Joining ERAS®
ERAS streamlines the recruitment process for programs by transmitting applications and supporting documents online. Then with the help of Program Director's Workstation (PDWS), programs are able to quickly and efficiently manage their applicant pool.

Preparing Your Specialty
Programs cannot join ERAS on an individual basis; a commitment from the entire specialty is required. To join, specialties must meet these requirements:
- Specialty leadership must contact ERAS at erashelp@aamc.org
- 80 percent of programs must agree to use ERAS
- Specialties must come to a decision to join ERAS before November 1 each year

New Programs
New Program Submission Form 
Newly accredited programs interested in participating with ERAS are required to submit a formal request. Please complete the New Program Submission Form and select Submit by E-mail. If needed, you may also print and fax (202-828-1129) the form to the attention of Hasan Mahmood.
ERAS Staff will contact you to confirm your request within 5-10 business days. If you have additional questions, contact our HelpDesk.
